Dalau has been awarded the contract to supply slide pads for the BP offshore oil rig off the coast off Angola.

We can manufacture bearing pads, slide plates, friction brakes, they can be etched and bonded onto steel, cast iron or other plastics.

BP Operated Projects

BP awarded Dalau the contract to supply PTFE sliding pads to the new ultra deep water off shore floating oil rig of the coast of Angola.

The development program is based on a Floating Production Storage and Offtake (FPSO) development concept, which is intended to reduce cycle time, optimize capital and maximize operating efficiency through standardized design, fabrication and commissioning.

Sydney Opera House

In the early 70’s Dalau supplied over 100 slide pads for the Sydney Opera House to sit on too allow it to move during the tidal movements from summer to winter.
